This tool copies the pages you name out of a PDF and into a new file. Type the pages you want, choose whether they stay together in one document or come back as one PDF per page, then drop your PDF above. The pages are copied as-is rather than rasterized, so text stays selectable and images keep their original data, and the file you dropped in is never changed.
Ranges are read in the order you type them, so 5, 1 puts page 5 first. Repeats are dropped after the first time a page appears. A range written backwards, like 5-2, is rejected with a message instead of being flipped for you, and a page number above the document's page count stops the extraction and tells you the real count. Nothing is produced until the whole range is valid.
If you want every page as its own file, that is Split PDF rather than this tool. To change the order of pages inside a document without removing any, use Reorder PDF Pages.
